Insurance services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan.  Any unpaid balance will be your responsibility.  I believe in being transparent with my clients and potential clients, so as a therapist, accept insurance using a third party billing agent such as Alma

This allows me to focus my attention on clients who choose to utilize their insurance for therapeutic services while allowing a team of experts to process and bill their insurance, safely and securely. Below are a few questions you might what to consider asking your insurance provider 

  • Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
  • What is my deductible and has it been met?
  • How many session per year does my insurance cover?
  • Is approval required from my primary care physician?

EAP, or Employee Assistance Programs, are becoming increasingly popular in the workplace. These programs offer employees access to mental health resources and support, which can be crucial in promoting overall well-being and productivity. EAPs may include counseling services, referrals to mental health professionals, and educational resources on mental health topics. 

By providing these resources, employers can help reduce the stigma surrounding mental health and create a more supportive work environment. EAPs can also benefit employers by reducing absenteeism and turnover rates, as well as increasing employee morale and job satisfaction. Overall, EAPs are an important tool for promoting mental health in the workplace and supporting employees in their personal and professional lives.

Sliding scale rates

My sliding scale rates are pretty basic and may require verification of income.

$80 to $90 for 45-minute individual psychotherapy sessions

Cancellation Policy

Every scheduled session is a reserved time and date and prevents anyone else from scheduling during that time. Therefore, it is important to cancel scheduled sessions by providing advance notice. For individuals who do not show for a scheduled session, the full amount of the session will be charged.  A 24 hour notice is required for cancellation of an appointment. This allows enough time for others to reserve the allotted time and day you reserved. Late cancellations that do not occur within 24 hours are charged a $75 late cancellation fee.
